Exchange unused snow chains bought from us

Now in its fourth decade, our König & Weissenfels snow chain exchange service is intended to mitigate the problem of having unused chains when you change your vehicle. A generous part exchange allowance is offered for new unused sets of current models in part exchange for another set.* To qualify the product must have been bought from us.

In the first instance, please contact us by email and include some photos of your snow chains laid out, along with their carrying case and original accessories, so that we can evaluate their condition – even if unused. We will then let you know if they are suitable for part-exchange, along with their approximate part exchange value, together with further details on how to arrange the exchange.

To qualify for our exchange service, we only accept models of snow chains produced by König or Weissenfels, that are currently sold on this website. Returned snow chains must be in new condition with no wear being visible. Please note that we are unable to offer refunds should the required replacements have a lesser value than the ones being part exchange.

Due to the nature of snow chain busy-periods, and that exchanges require more time to arrange than a simple sale, this should be done well in advance of your trip. If you request an exchange in the week or so leading up to Xmas or Feb half-term, we may not be able to deal with it in time for your holiday departure.
